2015 AgriLife Conference:

Embodying the Lone Star State of Mind: Shining a light on service

Photo: Texas Comptroller Hegar praises Texas A&M AgriLife service to state

There were many moments to be proud of at this year's AgriLife Conference, but hearing Texas Comptroller Hegar recognize us for our character and integrity was the most memorable for me.

The Chancellor also commended AgriLife employees in his address, noting that he agreed to speak for one purpose – “to thank you for what you do every day for the people of the state of Texas. ”

More information and resources from the conference can be accessed at agrilife.org/2015-agrilife-conference.

I hope those of you who were able to attend the conference enjoyed your sessions and will employ insights gained to your role. Your service is valued by the leaders of the State of Texas, the Texas A&M University System, and most of all, Texas A&M AgriLife. We have much to be proud of and I'm looking forward to what we accomplish in 2015!
